Target stands must be designed for use with a twenty (20) point PPC, NRA type training and competition.

The target stand shall be a single frame turning design and shall operate in unison turning with additional target stands, mounting at intervals of six (6) foot centers. 

The base shall be one forth (1/4) inch steel, no more than four (4)inches high and twelve (12)inches wide with at least four (4)consistently spaced holes for 3/8 inch concrete anchors. The base shall be designed as to allow weld down or clamp down installation if desired.

Turning target stands shall have a pivot arm of 1 1/4x1/4 steel permanently welded to the turning shaft with swivel plate of one forth (1/4) inch steel, providing attachment of one (1) inch drive rod connection between each target stand. The drive rod will be attached to the swivel plate by two (2) "U" bolts. The swivel plate bolt shall be one half (1/2) inch diameter, grade five (5) with locking nut.

The pivot arm shall have a built in positive ninety (90) degree turning radius stop control.

The target turning shaft shall be one (1) inch diameter solid steel, and shall be mounted in two (2) sealed ball bearings. The target shaft bearing shall be "BALL BEARING ONLY" and shall be of U.S. manufacture only. Bearings shall be of sealed design and have a minimum life expectancy of ten (10) years and they shall be provided with a rubber weather shield. All bearings shall have two (2) allen headlock set screws providing positive interlocking of the target shaft. 

The target frame holder shall be steel tubing nine sixteen (9/16)inch inside diameter (ID) by 1 inch outside diameter (OD) and three (3) inches in height having one forth (1/4) inch thumb screws securing target frames.

All manufactured parts shall be HOT DIPPED galvanized. Bearings, bolts and flanges shall be zinc approved for outdoor use.

Target frames shall be of one half (1/2)inch cold roll steel six (6) feet tall. The target frames shall accommodate a card board backer and target twenty four (24) wide and thirty six (36) inches tall.

• For permanent mounting to any number of target stands.

To supply one or any combination of target turners. Supply tank ASME rated minimum capacity of three (3) gallon 115/230 volt AC 50-60 Hz. motor adjustable pressure settings with overload protection.

WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL TIMER

For operation of turning target system within a one hundred (100) yard radius. Timing shall be selective by push switches for easy programming. Face times of one (1) to one hundred ninety nine (199) seconds shall be provided and delay timing of one (1) to nine (9) seconds, and have repeat control selection switch. Timer shall have manual face and edge control (push type) switches. Time shall have one (1) automatic start switch, mounted on the right side of the timer face and one (1) manual on / off switch mounted directly above the automatic start switch. The timer control shall be contained in a weather resistive plastic chassis. Remote shall have no wires or cords to impede training officers movement during training or qualification.

INSTALLATION

The system will be installed by the manufacturer. Standard service warranty of two (2) years on parts and repairs.
